NOTES:
The Paluxy Pickers are a band made up of local Association members. With occasional help of musicians from the audience, they put on a great show.

Dear Music Lovers:
Our Association has been unable to attract members that are able to serve as officers and directors that are necessary to keep the Association active. At the October 17, 2020 meeting, the membership voted to place the Association into an inactive state. I have included the article of the by-laws that describes what this means. This is very unfortunate, especially to those members and others, who have enjoyed attending Association events.
Even though the Association will not be promoting events, the show will go on. The good folks in the Pocket Change Band have stepped up and agreed to continue the 3rd Saturday show when possible.
The virus as taken a toll on us and will continue to restrict us, especially through the winter months. Consequently, we will not be having 3rd Saturday shows at Oakdale Park through the winter. Efforts are being made to find a suitable replacement venue to continue the show. When one is found, we will publish the time and place.
I would like to thank all those of you that have supported the Association and I hope to see you at some event down the road.
Stay Safe.......Frank
Revision to the By-Laws
October 17, 2020
Upon a vote of 75% of the membership attending the final general meeting, the Association can be placed into an inactive state. All functions except the treasury will be suspended. The treasury can be used to fund only Bluegrass or Bluegrass related events and for taxes and other fees necessary to maintain the Association.
Existing elected Officers and Directors shall remain until their term expires. The remaining Officers and Directors shall choose a person to serve as an Administrator/Treasure during the inactive state.
The association can be removed from an inactive state by the re-establishment of a membership base and by the election of Officers. If the Association has not been removed from the inactive state by October 16, 2021, a meeting of interested parties shall be held on this date, to decide if the Association should be dissolved.
Upon dissolution, all assets remaining after payment of debts and liabilities shall be distributed exclusively to charitable organizations qualifying under the provisions of Section 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code as determined by the consensus of the attendees of the October 16, 2021 meeting.
